My name is Ernie Scofield and this domain will eventually consist of several permit fee calculators. The calculators at this time are in testing and should be checked against the fee schedules on the pages linked under them.
I've worked several years in the building permit office in Virginia Beach. Over all those years applications would come in and try as they might, folks seemed to be off a few cents on the permit fee. We couldn't process the permit 'till the fee check had been corrected. Costing the customer time and aggravation.
Being a bit of a geek, this site is my attempt to help people get it right the first time and save a little time. But first...
You must have javascript enabled!
All the calculators are written using Javascript. If it is disabled they won't work! Don't worry, I hand coded every one and they don't include any nasties but some folks have Javascript disabled.
